Prolonging of library account

The Wrocław University Library on F. Joliot-Curie 12 St. informs that persons without a valid library card or without a valid, activated library account cannot order books from the WUL's Local Lending Department.

A library card or an activated UoW's student library account entitling for lending books is valid until losing student status in the USOS system.

In the case of students and employees of other public institutions of higher education in Wroclaw, the library card or activated library account is renewed for the current academic year in the Local Lending Department of the University Library in Wrocław on F Joliot-Curie 12 St., level 1 - upon presentation of the following documents:

1. for students of other Wroclaw’s public institutions of higher education that are entitled to borrow books based on concluded agreements and inter-university arrangements - student's ID card valid for the current academic semester;

2. for employees of other institutions of higher education - identification document and proof of employment contract.

For UoW employees, the library card or activated library account is automatically prolonged for a period of three years.
