We inform you that trial access to the Electronic Enlightenment database has been launched. It is the most comprehensive online collection of edited correspondence and offers a comprehensive picture of early modern society.

Electronic Enlightenment (EE) is a unique collection of over 75,000 letters and 10,000 correspondents dating from the 17th to the 19th centuries. It connects individuals from Europe, the Americas, and Asia, and includes many letters that have never been published before, either in print or online.

Due to the ongoing process of implementing the new library system, we would like to inform you that from July 18, 2025, it will no longer be possible to place orders for books to be borrowed outside the Library via the digitized alphabetical catalog.

Until the end of July, it will still be possible to order books from this catalog to the Main Reading Room.

We present a detailed schedule of the functioning of the WUL's departments during the summer. For the Library, this is not only a holiday period, but also an intensive time of implementation of a new library system that will make it easier for you to use the services of the UoW's libraries. Because of that, there will be changes in the functioning of our departments serving users. Please familiarize yourself with the schedule below:

From 1.10.2024, the Wroclaw University Library offers the possibility of using free self-service scanning of library materials in reading rooms on levels 2 and 3.
