We inform our Users, that because of the works carried out by the Municipality of Wroclaw on the reconstruction of infrastructure in the area of Dubois and Drobnera Streets, on Saturday, 11.04.2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., there may be temporary impediments in access to the network services of the University of Wrocław, including the Wroclaw University Library.

The work is external in nature and is carried out independently of the activities of the UoW and the WUL.

We inform our Users that the OUP open publishing program has been launched by the Publisher.

According to the agreement, the Publisher will contact the authorized corresponding authors of subscription articles published during the program suspension period and offer a free conversion to the OA model.

The Wroclaw University Library provides trial access to the International Security & Counter‑Terrorism Reference Center database, which will last until 30.04.2026

The database was designed as a comprehensive tool for research on international security, terrorism, global risk, and political, military, and social conflicts. It supports students, researchers, and professionals analyzing threats to the contemporary world.

Database content

The University of Wrocław has launched a 90-day trial access to the Oxford Law Pro platform.

The database is intended primarily for employees, PhD students and students of law; it offers access to over 600 Oxford University Press books, commentaries, analyses and source texts in the fields of financial, corporate and commercial law, arbitration and dispute resolution, international law, competition law, technology and media law, along with analyses of key issues.

The Wrocław University Library informs that the process of transferring users’ data from traditional paper files to the electronic library system ALMA is underway. The aim of this operation is to improve users’ service, increase data security, and introduce a uniform documentation method across the whole network of the University of Wrocław libraries.
