“Music transcriptions" collection

“Music transcriptions" collection is a new service enriching the presentation of the collections by the transcription of the historical musical works from the collections of the Wroclaw University Library. With this service users of Digital Library of University of Wroclaw can, beside viewing the digital reproduction of the original notation in the form of stand-alone objects or many volumed voice or instrumental books, also hear the actual sound of the piece while watching transcribed notation. Notes can be downloaded in multiple editable (mscz, MusicXML), presentational (PDF) and audio (mp3) formats.

Group publication in the Digital Library contains digital reproduction as well as records of the transcription of individual music scores that redirects the user to a track available in MuseScore.

The new service was launched with the financial support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education - Activities Popularizing Science 546 / P-DUN / 2016.
