Monday - Thursday: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Friday: 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Library of the Judaic Studies' collections are available only in the reading room.

Profile of collections

One of the priority objectives of the Department is to provide researchers and students of Jewish Studies with access to the basic and most important publications in the field of Jewish studies. The number of publications in the Library collection has been steadily increasing since 2003 thanks to generous support from Poland and abroad. Currently, in the Library of the Judaic Studies, there are circa 9.000 monographs - including about 4.000 volumes in Hebrew and Yiddish - and about 70 titels of periodicals. Among the many generous donors, Leon Chameides and Alex Lauterbach have the biggest contribution to the development of the Library.
