Opening of the Current Periodicals and Silesian Collection Reading Room
We inform our readers, that starting from 20.10.2014 Wroclaw University Library is launching Current Periodicals and Silesian Collection Reading Room in new location on Fryderyka Joliot-Curie 12 St.
We inform, that starting from 20.10.2014, there will be available two new types of library cards, that entitle users for electronic ordering materials only to the following reading rooms:
- the Current Periodicals Reading Room on F. Joliot-Curie 12 St.,
- the Main Reading Room on K.Szajnochy 7/9 St.,
- the Special Collections’ Reading Room on Św. Jadwigi 3/4 St.
Library cards for electronic ordering of materials to the reading rooms can be purchased only by persons over 18 years old, that are not related to the University of Wroclaw or any other Wroclaw’s institutions of higher education. There are two types of these cards:
the card valid for 10-days period (fee – 5 PLN), that can be purchased only in the Current Periodicals Reading Room without need to fill and submit subscription form.
annual library card (fee – 20 PLN) valid for the period of current academic year (up to 30th September) – can be purchased in the Current Periodicals Reading Room on F. Joliot-Curie 12 St. or in the Local Lending Department on K. Szajnochy 7/9 St. after having filled and submitted electronic subscription form no 4 (http://www.bu.uni.wroc.pl/katalog/psr/formularz4en.html).
The fee for prolonging that library card for the next academic year is 10 PLN.
The Current Periodicals and Silesian Collection Reading Room in new location on Fryderyka Joliot-Curie 12 St. will be open:
Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Sunday - closed
Fulfilling of orders (electronic order slips) from the Storage Department is completed:
Monday – Friday: up to 5:30 p.m.
Saturday: up to 1:00 p.m.
Fees – according to the Price list of Current Periodicals Reading Room are charged from 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Reading Room,
Other fees are charged in the room of Plenipotentiary of WUL’s Director for Financial Matters (no 1,28; F. Joliot-Curie 12 St.) from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m..
