Department duties

Main duties of the University Library's Infrastructure and Image Department are:

• conducting activities related to building and maintaining a positive image of the Library;
• organisation of cultural events, exhibitions and cultural and educational events in the Library;
• cooperation with other organizational units of the University of Wrocław, student organizations and the cultural, educational and business environment of Wrocław and the region in order to promote the services of the University Library;
• managing the Library's social media;
• creating and distributing promotional materials (including leaflets, posters, brochures, and newsletters) and organizing thematic exhibitions in cooperation with other organizational units of the Library;
• researching and monitoring the needs of Library's users;
• servicing the process of renting conference rooms in the University Library's building;
• administrative and supply services;
• planning, preparing and supervising renovations in cooperation with the technical departments of the University of Wrocław;
• receiving and dispatching of all postal items;
• participation in the preparation of public procurement procedures for the servicing of the Library building;
• organizing the transport of books and periodicals;
• supervision (in cooperation with the Property Maintenance Department) over the proper functioning of the systems and devices constituting the equipment of the WUL's building;
• supervision over the proper operation and use of library facilities and their equipment.
