Content: publicly available bibliographical/abstracts database consisting of:

• articles from ca 600 Polish periodicals, from 1998 (to the records of articles published from 2006 bibliographical references are being added)
  

• articles from universities’ and research institutes’ own publications,
• proceedings of the conferences.

In 2002 database was moved to the ICM UW server, and included in the Virtual Science Library (Wirtualna Biblioteka Nauki - WBN).

Database is a part of the Open Access movement and is a part of the Open Science in Poland.

  • list of periodicals,
  • list of authors,
  • list of keywords,
  • list of publishers,
  • list of the subscribing libraries,
  • from the institutions that participate in the creation of the database.

Thematic scope: engineering, technology and sciences, and environmental protection (selection).

At present time, 23 institutions participate in the creation of the database, on basis of BazTech consortium. agreement. The coordinator of the project in years 1998-2006 was the University of Technology and Life Sciences in Bydgoszcz, presently - Cracow University of Technology.
