Department duties

Main duties of Department are:

  • administrating servers and computer network,

  • administrating VIRTUA integrated library system,

  • installing, initiating and updating software,

  • designing and creating applications and databases on behalf of Library’s departments,

  • purchasing and recording computer hardware,

  • repairs and conservation of computer hardware,

  • cooperation with libraries within library network of UoW on field of operating VIRTUA system,

  • users’ training on usage of hardware and software.
