CONTENT OF THE DECLARATION OF AVAILABILITY

INTRODUCTION TO THE DECLARATION

Wroclaw University Library commits itself to ensure availability of its website in accordance with the provisions of the Act of April 4th, 2019 on digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities. The Declaration of availability applies to the website of the Wroclaw University Library.

STATUS WITH REGARD TO COMPLIANCE WITH THE ACT

The website is partially compliant with the Act of April 4th, 2019 on digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities, due to non-compliance or exclusions listed below:

  • Some non-text content may not have a textual alternative.

  • Some media may not have text alternatives, extended captions, or audio description.

  • Some navigation items may not have minimum contrast.

  • Some links may have a purpose that is not derived from the link content.

  • Navigation on the home page is different from navigation on subpages.

  • When entering content, suggestions to correct errors are not always available.

  • a description of the problem and which solution of it would be the most convenient for you.


Handling of requests and complaints related to availability

We will respond to your application as soon as possible, no later than within 7 days of its receipt.

If this deadline is too short for us, we will notify you about it. In this information, we will provide a new date by which we will correct the errors you have reported or prepare information in an alternative way. This new period will not be longer than 2 months.

If we are unable to make the digital website or content from your application available, we will offer you access to them in an alternative manner.

If our actions are not satisfactory for you, you can submit a complaint to the appropriate Office. If you still have complaints on our digital accessibility activities, you can report them to the Commissioner for Human Rights.
