Training on the EDS scientific search engine

The Wroclaw University Library and the EBSCO company invite you on November 27 at 12:00 p.m. for one-hour training, during which the scientific search engine EDS (EBSCO Discovery Service) will be presented. The search engine EDS is currently being tested at the University of Wrocław, and from 2020 it will replace the previously used Summon multi-search engin.

The scientific search engine is a tool that allows you to search the library's electronic resources with one search box, so that users can quickly and efficiently access the materials they need.

During the meeting a search engine and training on its most important functionalities (basic and advanced search strategies, navigating the search results, printing, saving and exporting articles, creating personal folders) will be presente.

The training will take place at the University Library, Fryderyka Joliot-Curie 12 St. - Informatory (level 1).
