Dear Sir or Madam,
In the near future update of the software of the Digital Library of University of Wroclaw and the Repository of University of Wroclaw to dLibra version 6.0 is planned. Major changes that will be implemented are: responsive user interface, changes to the search engine, implementation of the facet search, support for multi-format publications . dLibra patches will also be introduced to improve the functionality of DLoWU and RoUoW.
Due to these changes, there may be temporary difficulties in using DLoWU and RoUoW as well as the editor's application. We ask for your understanding and for reporting any problems you may be encountering.
We also ask you to submit any suggestions for improving the functionality of DLoWU and RoUoW from the reader's application’s and the editor's application’s side. As far as possible we will try to include your suggestions. An example of implementation of a new version of dLibra 6.0 software can be viewed in the Silesian Digital Library - https://www.sbc.org.pl.
We would like to inform you that dLibra software update is the first stage of modernization of the Digital Library of University of Wroclaw and the Repository of University of Wroclaw. The next step will be the integration with IIIF standard - http://iiif.io/, which allows to use very wide interoperability in global scientific communication. Integration with IIIF has been planned as a second stage of modernization of DLoWU and RoUoW and will be implemented as a part of the Leopoldina online project.
Anyone interested in the development of DLoWU and the Repository of University of Wroclaw are welcome to contact us and we invite you to cooperate in testing new functionalities.
